Lev Revutsky has a MS in Economics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Economics and Finance in St. Petersburg, Russia.
He has 25+ years of experience in the investment industry, first with Merrill Lynch and later with Guardian and Park Avenue Securities. Since August of 2011 Lev has been utilizing the resources of The Financial Services Network. He strongly believes that an institutional approach to investment process along with risk management can be applied to his private clients. Lev works diligently to improve the quality of investment process and client services.
He specializes in client portfolio management, asset allocation, investment risk assessment, risk analysis, and risk management, as well as advisory services. Lev helps add value to his clients by assisting them in creating efficient portfolios and selecting suitable strategies for his clients’ unique financial situations. Lev is also helping them to stay in touch with ever changing market conditions. He believes his primary role in is to develop risk measurement and risk management techniques that help reduce portfolio volatility and potentially increase portfolio return.
Lev is a strong believer in Quantitative methods of portfolio analysis along with Core and Satellite portfolio construction principles. He applies discipline to portfolio construction and portfolio management processes. By adhering to detailed risk analysis, diversification, and asset allocation and by using alternative investment classes (when appropriate), Lev is aiming to manage portfolio risk without sacrificing portfolio return. While constructing portfolios for his clients, Lev utilizes individual securities, mutual funds, alternative investments, and Exchange Traded Products. Lev is also working closely with many 3rd party Institutional Money Managers to offer their investment knowledge to his clients.
No matter whether Lev works individually or as a part of the team, he always strives to provide the highest quality and dedication to his clients and investment process. His investment philosophy is to provide an “Institutional level of money management to private clients”. In addition to CAIA designation, Lev has Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations held by LPL Financial, as well as life insurance licenses. In his spare time, he enjoys studying markets, reading, sports, travel, theater, and spending quality time with his family and his dog.
